I want to welcome everyone to Meigs Academic Magnet School for another incredible year of learning!
The 2022-2023 school year will be a year of setting and reaching attainable goals through hard work and determination. Meigs is a school dedicated to teaching the “whole child” through a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, allowing our capable learners to perform at high standards of academic and social development. I look forward to working with the students, members of our Meigs community, and you to ensure that a high-quality education is provided each and every day.

Planning for the upcoming school year began in early Spring, and I must say that I am thrilled with all that lies ahead! I hope you are all enjoying the school year. I ask that you all get lots of rest, laugh often, and hug your children tightly.

Again, welcome to Meigs Academic Magnet School, a community of learners on a path to greatness! I look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Cavaliers on Stage Drama Club is open to student participants in grades 5-8. The Drama Club produces two performances each school year, a Fall Play and a Spring Musical.
Students typically meet after school on Mondays and Thursdays for rehearsals.
