Cavalier Code

The Cavalier COde

In support of our beliefs, we have established the following four major expectations for student behavior:

Be impeccable with your word.
Say only what you mean. Avoid speaking against yourself or gossiping about others.

Don’t take anything personally.
When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

Don’t make assumptions.
Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid sadness, misunderstandings, and drama.

Always do your best.
Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

What Cavalier Code behavior looks like . . .

  • Be kind to yourself and others, take care of school property, dress appropriately, and be positive.
  • Make good choices, take care of yourself, keep up with your belongings, complete your work on time and
with your best effort, carry your ID Badge at all times, be on time for school and class, and attend class
prepared for success by bringing necessary materials.
  • Solve problems, use materials wisely, and recycle when possible.
  • Ask for help when you need it.
