Curriculum Offerings Meigs Magnet School is a school of choice, offering in-depth instruction for academically gifted and talented students. In addition to traditional core studies, students have an opportunity to take P.E., art, drama, and music at Meigs. Sixth and seventh graders rotate these throughout the years. Band, strings classes are available to students in grades sixth through eight.
For the students' eighth grade year, students may audition for advanced classes in art and drama. Advanced related arts students attend these classes all year. Students may also take Spanish to earn a foreign language high school credit. High school credits are also offered in physical science and integrated math.
Enrichment expands learning opportunities even further to explore interests and free-play.
