I want to welcome everyone to Meigs Academic Magnet School for another incredible year of learning!
The 2021-2022 school year will be a year of setting and reaching attainable goals through hard work and determination. Meigs is a school dedicated to teaching the “whole child” through a rigorous liberal arts curriculum, allowing our capable learners to perform at high standards of academic and social development. I look forward to working with the students, members of our Meigs community, and you to ensure that a high-quality education is provided each and every day. Planning for the upcoming school year began in early Spring, and I must say that I am thrilled with all that lies ahead! I hope you are all enjoying the school year. TWOS-FAIRY GIVING PROJECT INSPIRES!

The Twos-Fairy giving project continues to pay it forward.
Among others, the project in Ms. Shaffer's class has inspired the Hillsboro Church of Christ to fill many more buckets along with others across Nashville in the Family Buckets for Ukraine. These efforts inspired from Ms. Shaffer's classes caught the eye of the Kelly Clarkson Show. The Kelly Clarkson Show invited them to be spotlighted on March 24.
